The ruling on using kohl for the fasting person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode is one that reached the program from one of the female listeners. The sender says: Your sister (Haila A. A.). We presented some of our sister’s questions in a previous episode, and in this episode she has a number of remaining questions. She asks this question and says: What is the ruling in the Shari'ah, in your view, regarding the use of kohl by the fasting person? I have searched for the evidence in this matter and found that the evidence for prohibition is weak. Is there a difference in using it before fasting or during it? We thank you greatly.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and peace upon His Messenger, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
Using kohl by the fasting person is not harmful according to the most correct of the scholars’ opinions; because the eye is not a customary passage, so its use does not harm. If a person leaves it off at night as a precaution and to avoid the disagreement among scholars, that is good, if Allah wills. Otherwise, it does not harm, whether he uses it during the day while fasting or in the middle of the day; all of that is not harmful, except that it is better at night. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
