What is the ruling on boycotting one's father's wife?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This sister says: O Shaykh! I have a father's wife who does not fear Allah regarding us and constantly incites my father against us, and we are always in conflict with her. So, am I sinful if I cut off contact with her and do not greet her? And we ask Shaykh Abdul Aziz to give a word of guidance on this occasion.

Answer:
It is obligatory to advise her, and to inform the father so that he advises her, and you should not cut off contact with her. You must speak kindly to her, be patient, and advise her. The father should advise her and guide her so that there is no severance or disagreement between you. The father advises her and guides her to what is good, and you likewise must be patient and speak kindly to her, so that there is no hostility in the house. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
