The Sunnah when seeing something disliked in a dream

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I hope you can inform me about some of the words I repeat when I have a disturbing dream?

Answer:
It is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
A good vision is from Allah, and a dream is from Shaytan; so if one of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times, let he seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan and from the evil of what he saw three times, then let him turn over to his other side, for it will not harm him, and let him not tell it to anyoneالرؤيا الصالحة من الله والحلم من الشيطان؛ فإذا رأى أحدكم ما يكره فلينفث عن يساره ثلاثًا، وليستعذ بالله من الشيطان ومن شر ما رأى ثلاثًا ثم لينقلب على جنبه الآخر فإنها لا تضره ولا يخبر بها أحدًا
This is the Sunnah.
In another wording, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If one of you sees something he likes, let him praise Allah and tell it to those he loves, and if he sees something he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times, let him seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan and from the evil of what he saw three times, then let him turn over to his other side; for it will not harm him, and let him not tell it to anyoneإذا رأى أحدكم ما يحب فليحمد الله وليحدث بذلك من يحب، وإذا رأى ما يكره فلينفث عن يساره ثلاث مرات، وليتعوذ بالله من الشيطان ومن شر ما رأى ثلاث مرات، ثم لينقلب على جنبه الآخر؛ فإنها لا تضره ولا يخبر بها أحدًا
So, my brother, this is the Sunnah. Yes.
