What is the minimum requirement for fulfilling the obligation of worship of Allah the Exalted?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the minimum amount of worship without which the created being does not fulfill the purpose of the Creator in His saying, the Exalted:
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
[Al-Dhariyat:56]?

Answer:
The minimum is performing the obligatory acts and avoiding the forbidden ones. If one performs the obligatory acts and avoids the forbidden ones, he owes nothing, and he is called: one who is moderate, and he is among the righteous.
And if he increases by performing the recommended acts and staying away from the disliked ones, he becomes among those who race ahead and are brought near, he becomes of the highest class.
And the classes are three:
The class of the sinners: they are those who wrong themselves.
And the class of the moderate righteous: they are those who performed the obligatory acts and avoided the forbidden ones only.
And the third class is the highest class, which is the class of those who race ahead and are brought near, the messengers and their followers: those who hastened to good deeds, so they performed the obligatory acts and competed in types of good, avoided the forbidden ones, and stayed away from the disliked and doubtful matters, so these are the highest class.
