The ruling on an imam who has numerous serious errors

What is your opinion regarding the imam of our mosque who frequently makes mistakes in reciting the Qur'an during prayer? The worshippers point out his errors to him, but he pays no attention to them. This has happened dozens of times. He has been advised by several people, but he did not heed the advice. The matter was reported to the Endowments Department, and he was warned, but the issue recurred. Furthermore, he mixes up one surah with another in the same rak'ah, does not complete his prostration or bowing, and also makes mistakes in the khutbah. There is also another problem, which is that the rows are not straight and the gaps are not filled. What should we do? May Allah reward you with good.

Continue to follow up with the Endowments Department on this matter, or write to us and we will look into the case, if Allah wills. We will send someone to see the reality and do what is required.
