The ruling on staying overnight in Mina for one who cannot find a place
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some people say that if one cannot find a place in Mina, he should sit wherever the tents end, by analogy with the rows of prayer extending into the mosque. Is this sound?
Answer:
It has no basis. If he finds a place, fine; otherwise, anywhere. And praise be to Allah: [Surat al-Taghabun: 16] Even in al-'Aziziyah, even in Muzdalifah, he sits.
