What are the means of uniting the Muslims on the oneness of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What are the easy means, or the means capable of uniting the Muslims, under the banner of the oneness of Allah?

Answer:
There is no path to that except through calling to Allah, understanding, wisdom, good speech, and a large number of callers who call with knowledge and insight, their traveling through the lands, and the scholars fulfilling what Allah has made obligatory upon them in this regard in any place.
And among the causes of that as well is: Allah’s success for the rulers so that they compel people to the truth, and so that they call them to it, and so that they punish whoever leaves what Allah has made obligatory upon him, as was the case in the era of the righteous predecessors.
So if the rulers and the scholars fulfill their duty of calling, guiding, and compelling to the truth, the word of the Muslims will be united, evil will be removed from them, and they will be upright upon the truth. As long as the callers are few, and the scholars are few, and with their fewness, few among them call, guide, advise, and teach, and as long as the rulers remain in their known state, the uniting of the Muslims upon the truth is distant, unless Allah changes the situation to something better and more beautiful than it, as the hadiths have come regarding the end of time, and that Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) will unite them upon the truth when His messenger Isa (peace be upon him) descends, so he will not accept except Islam, and Allah will destroy all religions in his time, and he will kill the pig, break the cross, abolish the jizyah, and not accept except Islam.
And so it is with what came in the era of the Mahdi before the era of the Messiah: the prevalence of justice, and the abundance of good due to calling, teaching, and guidance, establishing the truth, compelling the application of the hudud, and preventing people from falsehood.
And here, by the praise of Allah, now in the beginning of this century and in the end of the last century, a great movement has become, and a new life, and an Islamic awakening, by the praise of Allah. We ask Allah to bless it, and to benefit the Muslims with it, and to assist those who are engaged in it in fulfilling the duty, and to make them see clearly, and to grant them good and righteous leaders.
