The ruling on the Hajj of one who stands outside 'Arafah until the sun sets

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says: If a pilgrim stands outside the boundaries of 'Arafah, near it, until the sun sets, and then departs, what is the ruling on his Hajj? May Allah reward you.

Answer:
The one who stands outside 'Arafah has no Hajj
Hajj is 'Arafahالحج عرفة
So if he stands outside 'Arafah at night or during the day and does not enter it, he has no Hajj. However, if he stands outside it during the day, and then is reminded and enters it at night on the night of the festival, entering 'Arafah suffices for the Hajj. But if he did not enter 'Arafah at all, neither on the Day of 'Arafah nor on the night of the festival, then he has no Hajj. He must exit the state of ihram by performing 'Umrah. He must exit the state of ihram by performing 'Umrah, and praise be to Allah. He performs tawaf, sa'y, shortens his hair, and exits the state of ihram by performing 'Umrah. Yes.

The presenter: Thank you, O Shaykh (may Allah protect you), and may Allah bless you, your knowledge, and benefit Islam and the Muslims through you.
