The ruling on a woman remaining with a husband who abandons prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says in this question—may the Shaykh be respected: What is the ruling in the Shari'ah, in your view, regarding a woman who prays while her husband does not pray? She is holding on to prayer, knowing that she has made a great effort to convince him to pray, but he does not bow, not even in a single rak'ah. She has children from him, and she hopes for good in that. What do you advise her? May Allah reward you.

Answer:
The one who does not pray is considered a disbeliever, may Allah keep us safe. This is the most correct of the scholars' opinions on the matter; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Between a man and disbelief and shirk (associating partners with Allah) is the abandonment of prayer.بين الرجل وبين الكفر والشرك ترك الصلاة
narrated by Muslim in the Sahih; and due to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
The covenant that distinguishes between us and them is prayer; so whoever leaves it, he has committed Kufr.العهد الذي بيننا وبينهم الصلاة فمن تركها فقد كفر
Sunan Ibn Majah 1079Sahih (Darussalam)
So prayer is the pillar of Islam. The one who does not pray has no good in him, and he is not considered a Muslim. She must separate from him and not allow him access to her. She must separate from him, prevent him from having access to her, and go to her family, until he repents to Allah, and until he submits, and leaves his bad deeds. This is the correct position. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
