The formation of the intention for prayer at the beginning of the lawful ablution

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A man entered the restroom to relieve himself, and after relieving himself, he performed the ablution for prayer without having intended to pray. The intention came only after he had relieved himself, while he was still in the bathroom. Is the ablution valid, or must he have intended it beforehand?

Answer:
If he intended it at the beginning of the lawful ablution, the ablution is valid. If he cleaned himself, then rinsed his mouth and inhaled water, and washed his face with the intention of the lawful ablution, praise be to Allah. He may pray whatever is facilitated for him, and there is no harm in touching the mushaf, because this is a lawful ablution, provided he intended the ablution. However, if he washed his limbs without having the intention, there is no ablution; the intention is necessary.
