Is the prayer for relieving oneself an innovation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
One of its questions, O Shaykh! May Allah preserve you: You say: Is the prayer for relieving oneself performed with the mentioned supplication? Or is it an innovation? And what is the relationship between the prayer for need and the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that when a matter concerns him, he turns to prayer? And is the prayer for relieving oneself performed?

Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a matter concerned him, would turn to prayer.
, as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
and seek help through patience and prayerوَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلاةِ
[al-Baqarah:45], so if a person prays and seeks the help of his Lord in his prostration or at the end of the prayer for the needs that concern him, it is all good.
I do not know of an authentic hadith named "the prayer for need," but this appears from His (Mighty and Majestic) saying:
Seek help through patience and prayer.
[al-Baqarah:45], and from the hadith
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a matter concerned him, would turn to prayer.
, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No servant performs wudu' and perfects his purification, then seeks forgiveness for his sin, except that Allah forgives him.
,
No servant performs wudu' and perfects his purification, then prays two rak'ahs, then seeks Allah's forgiveness, except that Allah forgives him.
.
The point is that if one seeks help through prayer in asking his Lord for a need or in repenting to Allah, this is among the causes of forgiveness. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
