The greatest book, the best book, and the most truthful book that benefits both women and men is the Book of Allah, the Qur'an. The Book of Allah, the Qur'an, is guidance and light. Allah the Exalted says: [Al-Isra: 9], and the Prophet ﷺ says: : [Fussilat: 44], and He the Exalted says: [Sad: 29], and He the Exalted says: [An-Nahl: 89], meaning: O Muhammad! Because it is an address to the Prophet ﷺ: [An-Nahl: 89].
So I advise all Muslims, male and female, I advise them and myself to fear Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) in all matters, to be diligent in performing what is obligatory, to leave what is forbidden, and to increase in His remembrance (Glorified and Exalted is He) by reading the Qur’an and various types of dhikr. I give them a special advice regarding the Qur’an: to care for the Qur’an, to care for the Qur’an, to increase in its recitation, to reflect on its meanings, to act upon what is in it, and to memorize it if it is easy, or whatever part of it is easy for them. It is the most truthful book and the most beneficial book.
So I advise everyone regarding the Book of Allah; I advise everyone to contemplate it and understand it, to recite it frequently by night and day, and to act upon what is in it. It contains all good: it commands prayer, zakah, charity, fasting, and Hajj, and good treatment of others, among other things. It commands frequent remembrance of Allah, His glorification and His exaltation, and sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, among other things. It commands all good, it calls to all good, and it forbids all evil. The Prophet ﷺ says: in His great Book: [At-Tawbah: 71], and He the Exalted says: [Al-Ahzab 33:41] and glorify Him in the morning and in the evening [Al-Ahzab: 41-42], and He the Majestic and Exalted says: [Al-Baqarah: 152], and He the Majestic and Exalted says: [Al-Ahzab: 56], and He the Majestic and Exalted says: [Hud: 114], and He the Exalted says: [Al-Baqarah: 238], meaning: the afternoon. [Al-Baqarah: 238], and He the Exalted says: [Al-Baqarah: 43], and He the Exalted says: [An-Nur: 56], among other things. It contains commands for all good.
And it contains warnings against all evil. He the Exalted says: [Al-Isra: 32], and He the Exalted says: [Al-Hujurat: 12], and the Prophet ﷺ says: : [Al-Hujurat: 12], and He the Exalted says in His great Book: [Al-Ma'idah: 90]. And khamr: everything that intoxicates is called khamr. And maysir: it is gambling. So in the great Book of Allah there is a call to all good and a prohibition of all evil.
Then after that, the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, such as the two Sahihs, Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. These are two great books, the most authentic and most beneficial books after the Book of Allah ﷺ. And such as Riyad as-Saliheen, a good book. And such as Al-Muntaqa by Al-Mujaddid Ibn Taymiyyah, a good book. And Bulugh al-Maram in hadith, a good book. Umdat al-Hadith by Shaykh 'Abd al-Ghani ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab ibn Sirr al-Maqdisi, a good and beneficial book. Such as the Book of Tawhid, which contains hadith and verses, by Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him), a good and great book. كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُوا الأَلْبَابِAnd We have sent down to you the Book
وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَAnd We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.

The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌO you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلا تَكْفُرُونِIndeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًاAnd establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.
أَقِمِ الصَّلاةَ طَرَفِيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ ذَلِكَ ذِكْرَى لِلذَّاكِرِينَMaintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer
حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاةِ الْوُسْطَىand stand before Allah, devoutly obedient.
وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَAnd establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].
وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُوا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَAnd establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.
وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَAnd it contains warnings against all evil. He the Exalted says:
And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality
وَلا تَقْرَبُوا الزِّنَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةًor backbite each other
وَلا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًاavoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy
اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ وَلا تَجَسَّسُواO you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأَنصَابُ وَالأَزْلامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَThen after that, the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, such as the two Sahihs, Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
