The Number of the Authentic Books

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He asks and says: What is the number of the authentic books, and is every hadith found in them considered a proof and evidence to be relied upon?

Answer:
The authentic books are multiple, but the most authentic and most established are the two Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them). These two books are the most authentic of the compiled books in explaining the authentic hadiths of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
There are books described as authentic, but they contain both authentic and non-authentic hadiths, such as Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, Sahih Ibn Hibban, Sahih al-Hakim, Sahih Ibn al-Sakan, and others. These are not free from weak hadiths, and even fabricated ones; some of them may contain fabricated hadiths.
So the conclusion is that these books called "Sahih" do not live up to their name; rather, they contain authentic, weak, and other types of hadiths. The only authentic books accepted and known among the people of knowledge, whose hadiths are established and accepted by the people of knowledge, are the books of al-Bukhari and Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them). Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
