It is not permissible for Muslim women or Muslim men to imitate the West or the East in their distinctive styles that are not part of Muslim custom; for Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) has forbidden us from adopting the manner and imitating our enemies. He said: :

And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.
