Ruling on following the imam's voice on the radio

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: If the radio is on and they are praying Maghrib or 'Isha' in congregation, is it permissible for me to pray after them?

The Shaykh: How?

The presenter: He says: If the radio is on for the Maghrib or 'Isha' prayer, is it permissible for me to pray after them, following them?

Answer:
We know of nothing in this matter. If the radio is on, I mean: is his intention that it is a recording that records his prayer, or is he hearing the voice on it?
The presenter: He hears the voice, he hears the voice of the one praying. Does he follow the imam who is on the radio, for example?

The Shaykh: This requires a distinction: If his intention is that he prays based on the radio that transmits the imam's voice from another mosque, he does not pray.
As for if his intention is that it is disturbing, it may disturb them; the radio is talking or it is on, then he should turn it off so that it does not disturb them while they are praying.
As for if the intention is to follow the radio and pray behind the radio that transmits the prayer of the Haram, or the prayer of the city, or the prayer of any mosque, this is not allowed; because the signal may be cut off and the worship becomes disordered, and because he is not with the rows in the mosque, but he is far from them. So he has no right to follow the radio, but rather they pray an independent prayer that has no connection to the radio. This is the obligatory.
