Do I repeat the adhan with the mu'adhdhin when I hear it on the radio, and do I make the du'a of the adhan after hearing it from the radio?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: I hear the adhan on the radio. Do I repeat the adhan with the mu'adhdhin and make the du'a of the adhan after hearing it from the radio?

The Shaykh : As for when the adhan is being broadcast live, yes, follow the mu'adhdhin and make the well-known du'a, due to the generality of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
If you hear the Muadh-dhin then say as he says إذا سمعتم المؤذّن فقولوا مثل ما يقول المؤذّن
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3614Sahih (Darussalam)
. As for when it is recorded, do not follow it, because a recording is not an adhan. For this reason, it does not suffice as an adhan for a person to place a tape in the minaret and play the adhan for people to hear, because the adhan is an act of worship that a person must perform as an act of devotion to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), calling the servants of Allah to prayer.
In summary, if you hear the adhan on the radio directly from the mu'adhdhin, follow him. If it is via a recording, do not follow it. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.
