The Ruling on the Children of Polytheists

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The children of disbelievers: do they die as Muslims, or as disbelievers?

Answer:
The children of disbelievers are, as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah knows best what they would have done.الله أعلم بما كانوا عاملين
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1949Sahih (Darussalam)
Their ruling is the ruling of their people. They are not washed, and no funeral prayer is offered for them with their people. If they die among their people, they are buried like their people; they are not washed, and no funeral prayer is offered for them, because they are disbelievers. But on the Day of Resurrection, Allah knows best what they will be doing.
and the correct view is: They will be tested on the Day of Resurrection. Allah will test them on the Day of Resurrection and command them. If they obey, they will enter Paradise; and if they disobey, they will enter the Fire with their people. Likewise, the people of the period of ignorance who died during that period, to whom no messengers came in this world, to whom no messenger came on the Day of Resurrection, will be tested, commanded, and forbidden from certain things. If they respond, they will enter Paradise; and if they disobey, they will enter the Fire. We ask Allah for well-being.
