The times in which the hour of Friday is sought

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Which times is the mentioned hour sought on Friday? Is it on Friday, or in the 'Asr time, or immediately after the Friday prayer?

Answer:
Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) has made in it an hour in which supplication is accepted. It is a short hour; no Muslim servant who coincides with it while standing in prayer will fail to have Allah grant him his request. It is a great, short hour. It came in some narrations in Muslim: that it is from when the imam sits on the pulpit on Friday until the prayer is completed. This is how it came; Muslim narrated it from the hadith of Abu Musa, traced to the Prophet, and some of them criticized it as being a mursal (a report missing the Companion link).
It also came in the hadith of Jabir and Abdullah ibn Salam: that it is after 'Asr until the setting of the sun. And it came in some hadiths: that it is the last hour of Friday. None of these are definitive, but these are the most likely. The most likely and most hopeful is between sitting on the pulpit and the completion of the prayer, and between the 'Asr prayer and the setting of the sun. These are the most hopeful. And the rest of Friday remains, in which the acceptance of supplication is hoped for.
All the times of Friday are those in which the acceptance of supplication is hoped for, but the most hopeful are between the imam sitting on the pulpit and the completion of the prayer, and between the 'Asr prayer and the setting of the sun. These two times are the most hopeful, as came in the hadiths regarding that. And Friday remains, in which this acceptance is hoped for. One should increase in supplications on Friday. One should increase in supplication, so that it may coincide with this blessed hour.
