There is no doubt that these people are among the enemies, and that the evils and fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) they spread among the Muslims are part of their schemes. They are among the causes of the division of the Muslims and of their being affected; many of them are influenced by these Nusayriyyah and the Imami Rafidah, and likewise the Khawarij, and likewise the Mu'tazilah, and likewise the Jahmiyyah, and likewise others from among the people of innovation who have spread among the Muslims.
But the first ones, our righteous Salaf, knew their schemes and knew their misguidance, so they did not pay attention to them. Rather, they fought those among them who fought them, and they did not pay attention to them. They fought the enemies of Allah, struggled in the path of Allah, and raised the banner of Islam, and they did not care about those misguided ones from the Shi'ah, the Khawarij, and others. Sometimes they fought them, and sometimes they occupied themselves with fighting the open disbelievers and standing against them; these others have another time for them.
It is known that the enemy who displays Islam is more dangerous to the Muslims than the open hypocrite who declares his Islam but is a hypocrite, and who is against the Muslims in his actions and his schemes against the Muslims. He is more severe for them than the open disbelievers. For this reason, the hypocrites became more misguided than the open disbelievers, and they became in the lowest depth of the Fire, we seek refuge in Allah. Why? Because they displayed Islam and lied in the secret, and schemed against them in the secret. Likewise, everyone who resembles them, from the Nusayriyyah, the Rafidah, and others, is in this same position; their danger to the Muslims is greater because they displayed Islam and claimed Islam, but in the secret they fight Islam and call to other than it, and call to beliefs and sects other than what Islam brought.
