Is sleeping on the stomach forbidden?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
I was told that sleeping on the stomach is forbidden. Is this correct? If it is correct, what should I do, because I do not feel comfortable unless I sleep in this position, and sleeping on the stomach is comfortable for me?
Answer: It was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
He saw some of his Companions sleeping on their stomachs, so he nudged them with his foot and said to them: This is a position that Allah hates.أنه رأى بعض أصحابه قد نام على بطنه، فحركه برجله، وقال له: إن هذا ضجعة يبغضها الله
And in another narration:
It is the sleep of the people of the Fireإنها ضجعة أهل النار
So it is disliked; it is a disliked position. It should be avoided except in cases of dire necessity, such as pain that requires the person to adopt this position. Otherwise, it should be avoided. The minimum ruling for it is that it is disliked, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
This is a position that Allah hates.إن هذه الضجعة يبغضها الله
It should be avoided, and at the very least, it is disliked. Although the apparent meaning of the hadith is prohibition, the believer, male or female, should avoid this position except in a case of dire necessity where there is no alternative. Yes.
