Ruling on a sick woman exposing her private parts without necessity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a message from the listening sister (N. H. 'A) who did not provide an address. She says in her message: Three months ago, I underwent a tonsillectomy. The doctor said that I had to wait a full day before the operation began. However, I uncovered my hair and removed my hijab, and the doctor and some young men who visit their patients saw me. Many of the patients, or female patients, remain uncovered while lying on the hospital beds, on the pretext that there is no blame on the patient. So please issue a ruling for us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: This is an error, a figurative interpretation of the verses of Allah without right. The statement that there is no blame on the patient applies to jihad and what requires an action he cannot perform, just as there is no blame on him if he prays sitting when he is unable to stand, or on his side when he is unable to sit. As for a woman exposing her private parts, or uncovering her face or hair, there is blame on her for this, even if she is sick; she does not have that right. Except if the illness overpowers her and she loses consciousness, then she is excused. But as long as she is conscious and rational, it is obligatory for her to cover her hair, face, and body from the doctor and from anyone other than the doctor, except when there is a need. If the doctor needs to look at the place of pain, she uncovers the place of pain for him. When he is finished, she covers it from him and from others. So uncovering is only to the extent of the need for the doctor. If the pain is in her mouth, she uncovers her mouth for him. If the pain is in her hand, she uncovers her hand for him. If the pain is in her face, she uncovers the part of her face, such as her forehead or otherwise. If it is in her leg, she gives him her leg, uncovering her leg.
As for the nurses and visitors, they have no right to this. It is obligatory to cover up from them, and it is not permissible to be lenient in this matter; rather, that is a clear evil. Yes, we seek help from Allah.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
