Ruling on Washing the Ihram Garments

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
One of the listening brothers is also asking the Shaykh, may Allah protect him, about washing the ihram if it becomes dirty. Is it permissible for the person in ihram to do that?
Answer: Yes, if he wishes to wash his ihram, especially if it becomes dirty, there is nothing wrong with it. There is nothing wrong with washing it, and there is nothing wrong with replacing it with another ihram, for both men and women. If anyone wishes to replace the ihram garments with other new or washed garments, there is nothing wrong with it for men or women. Likewise, if they become dirty, he washes them, or if they become ritually impure, he washes them and then wears them. The matter is broad in this regard; if he wishes, he may replace them, and if he wishes, he may wash them. The matter is broad in this. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
