The Correct Path to the Islamic Awakening

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Shaykh Abdulaziz, people are divided between optimists and pessimists regarding what they call the Islamic awakening. Perhaps you have a word to say on this occasion regarding this topic?
The answer: It is obligatory to be optimistic, it is obligatory to be optimistic and to have a good opinion of Allah; this is what is obligatory. Allah the Exalted says, in what is authentic from His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), He says, the Exalted:
I live in the thought of My servant as he thinks of Me and with him as he calls Me.
Sahih Muslim 2675d
And in Sahih Muslim, from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said:
No one of you should die except thinking positively of Allah.
Sunan Ibn Majah 4167Sahih (Darussalam)
So it is obligatory to have a good opinion of Allah, along with earnest striving and working to support the religion of Allah and establish the law of Allah. Each person must hold himself accountable for fulfilling the rights of Allah, abandoning the sins of Allah, and observing the limits of Allah. He should support his government in all good, be trustworthy in his job, fulfill the trust, advise the community, preserve the truth, hasten to prayer and perform it at its time in congregation, and so on with all matters of Islam. Every person is responsible for helping the community return to the religion of Allah and establish the law of Allah, and for supporting his state in that.
And it is also obligatory upon every family and every group to cooperate in this, in abandoning what Allah has forbidden and fulfilling what Allah has made obligatory, and in spreading the good news of that and cooperating in it. This is the duty of Muslims. And Allah says, the Exalted:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.
[Al-Ma'idah: 2], and He says, the Exalted:
(1) By time, (2) Indeed, mankind is in loss, (3) Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
[Al-Asr: 1-3]. These are the winners who believed in Allah and His Messenger with sincere faith, so they worshipped Him alone and made their worship pure for Him, and they ruled by His law and acted upon what was obligatory upon them and abandoned what Allah has forbidden upon them. And they advised one another with that and gave one another sincere advice in that, and they advised one another to be patient with that. These are the winners, these are the happy ones in this world and the Hereafter.
And this is the duty of all believers and all believing women to advise one another with the truth, and to give one another sincere advice, and to cooperate in righteousness and piety, and to be patient with that until death, as Allah, the Exalted, said to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
And worship your Lord until certainty comes to you.
[Al-Hijr: 99], and He says, the Exalted, to all the believers:
(102) O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. (103) And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.
[Al-Imran: 102-103], and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Verily Allah likes three things for you and He disapproves three things for you. He is pleased with you that you worship Him and associate nor anything with Him, that you hold fast the rope of Allah, and be not scattered; and He disapproves for you irrelevant talk, persistent questioning ane the wasting of wealth.
Sahih Muslim 1715a
Narrated by Muslim in the Sahih. In another narration, he added:
and that you give good counsel to the one to whom Allah gives command over youوأن تناصحوا من ولاه الله أمركم
Muwatta Malik 56:20
.
So it is obligatory upon the believers to give one another sincere advice and to cooperate, and so it is obligatory upon the believing women to give one another sincere advice and to cooperate among themselves, with the men, and with their families. So the duty is shared. Allah says, the Exalted:
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
[At-Tawbah: 71], and He says, the Exalted:
You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah.
[Al-Imran: 110].
So it is obligatory upon everyone, in every place and in every time, to cooperate in good, to advise one another with the truth, and to advise one another with patience, men and women, old and young, Arabs and non-Arabs. This is obligatory upon everyone to cooperate in righteousness and piety wherever they are, and to advise one another with the truth in writing and orally and by every means. May Allah grant everyone success and guidance. Yes.
The presenter: O Allah, amen, may Allah reward you with good.
So this is the correct path that Shaykh Abdulaziz ibn Baz sees for the Islamic awakening?
The Shaykh: This is the correct path, and this is what the Muslims see, what the people of truth and the people of knowledge see, that it is obligatory ... and to be awake and to help those who have risen to it and to thank them for that, and to guide and support them until the good increases and the evil decreases.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and He has responded to your supplication.
