The Role of Women in Calling Others to Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the role of women in calling others to Allah? Is it permissible for a woman to go out to call people to Allah beyond the boundaries of her home and her town?

Answer:
She has her share according to her capacity. She has her share in calling people to Allah, and in enjoining good and forbidding evil, within the limits of her ability: in her home, with her sisters in Allah, in her town, on her way, in the market, and in every place where she is able to forbid evil and call people to Allah with wisdom and good instruction, while observing the hijab and adhering to what Allah has prescribed for her. In travel, if there is a journey, she must be with her mahram. The command is general:
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrongوَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
[At-Tawbah: 71].
And likewise His saying, the Exalted:
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allahوَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ
[Fussilat: 33], is general. So the matter is general, but everyone is according to their own condition: the man according to his condition, and the woman according to her condition.
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[At-Taghabun: 16].
