The Crying of Some of the Dead in Their Graves

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the cry for everyone? Because I heard one of them say: When the people leave him?

Answer:
No, he only hears the striking of the sandals, otherwise there is no cry. The cry is for the one who is being struck, but people generally do not hear it. People do not hear it, though it is possible they might, but it is rare. We ask Allah for well-being.
Some people told me about thirty years ago that his aunt had passed away. It was said to them that there was crying in her grave. He used to consider this unlikely. So one time, he listened to her grave, and it was true; there was crying. He asked her companions about her, and they said that she did not give zakah. She had wealth and did not give zakah, and that this is part of her punishment. We ask Allah for safety and well-being, and there is no power or strength except with Allah.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by two graves. Allah showed him their punishment. You have heard what was mentioned before, that one of them used to spread talebearing, and the other did not clean himself from urine—may we seek refuge in Allah—and other incidents occurred. We ask Allah for well-being.
