Is the one who leaves off zakah out of laziness declared a disbeliever?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
May Allah reward you for your work. Can it be said that the one who leaves off zakah out of laziness is a disbeliever?

Answer:
The hadiths indicate that the one who leaves off zakah is not a disbeliever. For this reason, on the Day of Resurrection he will be punished with his wealth, and then he will see his path: either to Paradise or to the Fire. If he were a disbeliever, he would not see his path to Paradise; he would see his path to the Fire forever. The fact that it says, "then he will see his path: either to Paradise or to the Fire," indicates that he is a sinner and that he is under the will of Allah.
