Ruling on writing the Qur'an on boards, washing them, and then drinking the water

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible for someone to seek a teacher in his home, sit with him, and say to him: "Write for me some of the Qur'an, or something else," where the teacher writes on a board, washes it for him, and he drinks the water, and the teacher says to him: "For the sake of this book, you will attain much provision"? Is this permissible to do?

The Shaykh: Repeat..

The student: A person sought a teacher in his home, and the teacher wrote Qur'an for him on a board, then erased the Qur'an and said to him: "Drink it; may Allah increase your provision," meaning?

Answer:
This has no basis. This has no basis. The Qur'an is recited over the sick person, and he is blown upon, and supplication is made for him, or it is written on a board, or a plate, or a piece of paper, where verses from the verses of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) and some supplications are written, then it is washed with water, and the sick person drinks it. This was done by a group of the Salaf, but its meaning is not that he will attain provision.
It is done for some illnesses that afflict a person, if a person is afflicted in his chest, in his body, or in his head; he blows into water, then the afflicted person drinks from it, or bathes with some of it, as is done for one afflicted by the evil eye if he is struck by the evil eye, or if he is afflicted by sorcery. Some verses are recited for him, and he drinks from them and bathes with them, and the illness is removed, with Allah's permission.
As for writing it for him, or erasing it, for the sake of provision, abundance of provision, or the like, this has no basis.

Question : Is it effective for infertility?

Answer: Infertility is of two types. Infertility has causes, meaning blockages in the seminal ducts, which doctors can identify, and it may be removed. And there is infertility for which there is no remedy, as He (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:
and He renders whom He wills barrenوَيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا
[Surah al-Shura: 50]. There is no remedy for anyone regarding this. The fundamental infertility where the womb does not accept, and the semen does not produce a child, there is no remedy for this.
