The Permissibility of Writing the Qur'an with Ink and Then Placing It in Water to Drink

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Some people write verses from the Qur'an and wash them off with water and drink it,And if they are objected to, they say: saying, "It is the speech of Allah, and we seek healing with it."
Is this action permissible? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
This action is permissible. It is permissible for a person to write the Qur'an with ink that is permissible to drink, then place this written material in water, stir it, and drink it. Some of the Salaf used to do this, doing it in vessels such as plates and the like. If a person does that, he has precedent from the Salaf in doing so, and one may cite as evidence for this the general statement of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believersوَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
[Al-Isra: 82]. If one seeks healing with the Qur'an in this manner, and it is tried and proven to be beneficial, then it falls under the generality of this noble verse.
