Is the jinn to be believed in what it reports of news?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student : He says, "I have believed." What is the legal evidence I have that I enter into the hearts of humans? Are you a human?

The Shaykh : I am asking you, is he speaking or not?
The student : He says, "I have believed," and therefore I took it from his tongue.

The Shaykh : May Allah guide you, is he speaking? Understand the question.

The questioner : By Allah, I understand the question.

The Shaykh : What is it?

The questioner : Did you know that he believed or not?

The Shaykh : Yes, okay.

The questioner : I knew from his speech.

The Shaykh : Is his speech truth or falsehood, do you know?

The questioner : Then this falls under the category of news; it is possible that it is either.

The Shaykh : Fine, if he tells you, "So-and-so was a Christian and became a Muslim," do not believe it and do not deny it, just as with news that comes to you.

The questioner : It is news.

The Shaykh : Be patient, may Allah guide you. I am telling you, let me give you an example: News comes to us from the Jews and Christians, what is our position? We do not believe it and we do not deny it. News comes to you from a person from the unseen world, the jinn, do not believe it and do not deny it.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : I see you with heat that so-and-so became a Muslim and his name is such-and-such and his name is such-and-such.

The questioner : It was said so, I am narrating it, meaning I am seeking a ruling.

The Shaykh : Do not believe it and do not deny it.
