Question:
How is the prayer performed for the deceased, and what is the prescribed supplication for a child and for a woman, are they the same?

Answer:
Pray with the Muslims for the funerals and learn how the prayer for the deceased is performed. The Muslims pray for the dead, and praise be to Allah, so pray with them and thereby learn the prayer for the deceased. For an adult, one supplicates for forgiveness and mercy, and for a child, one supplicates for mercy and forgiveness, and that Allah the Exalted make him an intercessor for his parents; one supplicates for his parents.
