Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the meaning of the noble verse: (And thus We have made you a middle nation)?

Answer:
Answer: The meaning of "middle" is moderation; a moderate nation, moderate between extremism and excess, and between harshness and turning away. This is the middle. As for the meaning of the verse (And thus We have made you a middle nation), it means a just and chosen people, because Allah qualifies them with this to be witnesses over the nations. It is a condition for the witness that he be just and chosen (so that you may be witnesses over the people) on the Day of Resurrection, because their messengers had conveyed the message to them.
