The fourth question of the fatwa number ( 21025 )
Q 4: Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:143] What is it that this nation will testify to before its Creator on the Day of Resurrection, what is the wording of this testimony, and how is it carried out?
A 4: The meaning of the noble verse is that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, chose this nation and made it the best and most just, and He granted it of knowledge, forbearance, justice, and excellence in worship what He did not grant to any other nation, so that they would be witnesses over the people because of their justice and their judgment by equity. They will judge the people from among the followers of all religions, and no one else will judge them. Whatever this nation testifies to as accepted is accepted, and whatever it testifies to as rejected is rejected. Part of this nation’s testimony over others is that when the Day of Resurrection comes and Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, asks the messengers about their conveying of the message, and asks the disbelieving nations about it, and they deny that the prophets conveyed it to them, the prophets will call this nation to testify, and it will testify to them regarding the conveyance, as established in
( Sahih al-Bukhari ). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
