Starting with the repayment of debts first

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
May Allah reward you. This questioner says, “O Shaykh, I want to get married, and I have many debts. Is it obligatory for me to repay the debts in full and then get married? Also, regarding the issue of Hajj, what do you advise us?”

Answer:
Answer: You start with the most important, then the next most important: repaying the debts; because the rights of people are based on strictness. If you have any money left after repaying the debts, you get married with it. Otherwise, you exercise patience until Allah makes things easy. Allah, Exalted and Majestic, commanded patience for those who cannot find a spouse; it is obligatory upon those who cannot find a spouse to be patient.
