Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What are the limits of the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Sacrifice, “Do it, and there is no harm”?

Answer:
Answer: Yes, this is specific to the acts of Hajj on the Day of Sacrifice, in the acts of the Day of Sacrifice. These are the circumambulation of the House, the circumambulation of departure, and the walking between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and the stoning of the pillars, the pillar of Aqabah, and the descent to Mina, the beginning of the descent to Mina on the days of Tashriq. He was not asked (peace and blessings be upon him) on this day about anything being brought forward or delayed from these rites except that he said, “Do it, and there is no harm,” regarding bringing forward or delaying. And although it is better that a person begins by stoning the pillar of Aqabah, then descends to Makkah and performs the circumambulation of departure, and walks between al-Safa and al-Marwah, then slaughters his sacrificial animal if he has one, then descends to Mina and stays there for the nights of the days of Tashriq, and stones the three pillars, the small one, then the middle one, then the large one, every day. This is what he was asked about, anything being brought forward or delayed, meaning on the Day of Sacrifice from these rites that are performed on the Day of Sacrifice, except that he said, “Do it, and there is no harm,” regarding bringing forward or delaying. It is not that everything is done and there is no harm! No, this is specific to the acts of the Day of Sacrifice.
