What is the best deed by which a Muslim draws near to his Lord

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the best deed by which a Muslim draws near to his Lord, whether he is male or female?

Answer:
Answer: The best deed is obedience to Allah and obedience to His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) with knowledge and insight. This applies to physical acts of worship. As for financial acts, the best deed is at times of need: giving charity to the poor and the needy, as the Exalted said: “But he who strives hard, and what will make you know what is striving hard? It is freeing a slave, or giving food on a day of hunger to an orphan with a close relationship, or to a needy person in distress.” This means an orphan who is hungry.
