The Distinction of the Month of Dhul-Qa'dah

Question:
We are in the month of Dhul-Qa'dah, which is one of the months of Hajj and the sacred months. My question is: What is prescribed in this month, and does it have a special distinction?

Answer: As you have kindly mentioned, it is one of the sacred months. Allah had forbidden fighting in the sacred months before Islam. When Islam came, the whole of Islam became safety and faith, praise be to Allah. Therefore, Muslims need to be alert to the danger surrounding them on the right and the left, especially since ideas and evils are being spread through hidden and precise means more than ever before. So, caution is required against these ideas, their evil, and their danger, and this is done by spreading what opposes them from the truth. Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said: (And say, "The truth has come and the false has disappeared. Indeed, the false is bound to disappear"). He (Glorified and Exalted is He) said: (But We will cast the truth upon falsehood and it will smash it, and then it will be destroyed). We have, praise be to Allah, the deadly weapon that destroys these ideas and these matters plotted against the Muslims. We have the truth that came down from the sky from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). Falsehood cannot resist the truth, but the truth needs carriers who carry it with sincerity and trustworthiness. If they carry it with sincerity and trustworthiness, falsehood will never stand before the truth. We have, praise be to Allah, the sufficient equipment from the Book and the Sunnah and the guidance of the righteous predecessors to resist these incoming ideas from all aspects.
