Ruling on breaking the intention of fasting during the day

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q308: The questioner asks: What is the ruling on breaking the intention in fasting?
A308: It is not permissible to break the intention in an obligatory fast. It is not permissible to break the intention in an obligatory fast; because if one enters into an obligatory fast with a wide time frame, it becomes forbidden to break it, whether it is the fast of Ramadan, making up a fast from Ramadan, an expiation fast, or a vow fast. All of these are not permissible to break during the day. As for voluntary fasts, you have the choice: if you wish to complete it to obtain the reward, do so; and if you wish to break your fast and break the intention, there is no harm.
