The Ruling on the Intention for Fasting

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of the fatwa numbered ( 20770 )
Q3: Is the intention for fasting obligatory every night, or is it sufficient for me to intend, for example, to fast the entire month of Ramadan from its first night?
A3: It is necessary to have the intention for fasting every night for the days of Ramadan, because the fast of each day is an independent act of worship, and if a person gets up for the pre-dawn meal, he has intended to fast. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
