The ruling on a guarantor giving zakat al-fitr on behalf of his workers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q126: The questioner asks: Does a guarantor give zakat al-fitr on behalf of the maid in his house, and likewise the driver?
A126: There is nothing wrong with it. If he provides for them, then the alms given at the end of Ramadan follows the provision, so he gives it on their behalf. If he does not provide for them, but wants to pay zakat al-fitr for them as a form of assistance, there is nothing wrong with that, but he must inform them of it so that they authorize him to do so.
