Q4: Many people have non-Muslim servants in their homes. Should they give Zakat al-Fitr on their behalf, or give them any of the Zakat?
A4 : They should not give Zakat al-Fitr on their behalf, and it is not permissible for him to give them any of the Zakat. Even if he gave them some of it, it would not suffice. However, he may be kind to them from other than the obligatory Zakat, knowing that it is obligatory to replace them with Muslim workers; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) advised to expel the disbelievers from the Arabian Peninsula and said: . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
