Zina in the Month of Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 16637 )
Q: A person asks and says: What is the ruling on one who committed zina in the month of Ramadan, in the fourth hour of the day, and he was not muhsan, and he continued to commit the crime of zina for three days and he is now repentant to Allah and regretful of what has passed, so what is required of him now? I ask for a detailed answer with the mention of the evidence and the statements of the scholars.
A: It is obligatory for him to perform three expiations, one expiation for each day. The expiation is: freeing a believing slave, and if he does not find one, he must fast two consecutive months, and if he is unable to do so, he must feed sixty poor people, along with making up the three days of fasting. She is like him in that she must perform three expiations along with making up the three days of fasting. And both of them must have sincere repentance
to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and not return to such an action. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
