Ruling on making up the prayer for the deceased

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q315: The questioner asks: Is the prayer made up for the deceased?
A315: The prayer is not made up for the deceased; only the fast is made up for him
only, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
If anyone dies in a state (that he had to complete) some fastsمن مات وعليه صيام
Sahih Muslim 1147
And in another narration: “And he had a vowed fast, so his guardian fasted for him.” As for the prayer, representation does not apply to it, because it is a physical act.
