The second question of Fatwa No. ( 623 )
Q2: It includes that they are Bedouins, and when one of them dies and he has only one [person] with him, for example, he fires a gun so that someone who hears it comes to help him prepare the body, pray over him, and bury him. It is mentioned that they come from far away and need someone to feed them. The question is whether it is permissible to prepare food for them from the deceased's estate?
A2: If these people who came to help prepare the deceased are from distant homes, then if the hearts of the deceased's heirs are pleased to feed these visitors who came to help prepare their dead, there is no harm in that. However, if they are orphans or absent, they should not be fed from the estate; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan ad-Daraqutni 13:79 . But if the deceased was among them and lived with them in the same country, then his family are more entitled to feed them; because the death of their deceased relative created a mental preoccupation in their minds. The permissibility of feeding the deceased's family is indicated by the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to some of his family to prepare food for the family of Ja'far ibn Abi Talib after his death, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said as an explanation for that: And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

لا يحل مال امرئ مسلم إلا عن طيبة من نفسهFor they have been given what occupied them
فقد أتاهم ما شغلهم
