Explaining the reality of animals speaking to humans

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q302: A questioner says: In Sahih al-Bukhari, there is a hadith about a man who was attacked by a cow and it spoke to him, and a wolf that attacked a flock of sheep and spoke to the shepherd. What is the meaning of these hadiths? And why were the Companions
(may Allah be pleased with them) amazed?

A302: Because these are beasts that do not normally speak, and the fact that they spoke was by the command of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and among the wonders of His creation (Glorified and Exalted is He), therefore the Companions were amazed by that.
