Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : My mother says she breastfed my cousin for a month. Do her siblings become my siblings through breastfeeding, given that I did not breastfeed from their mother?

The Shaykh : Her siblings do not become your siblings through breastfeeding, right?

The questioner : A female questioner.

The Shaykh : Yes, because you did not breastfeed from their mother. Accordingly, this girl who breastfed from your mother becomes your sister and the sister of all your mother’s children, whether those born before her or after her, whether your mother’s children were from the husband with whom she was married when she breastfed her, or from a previous husband, or from a later husband. Yes.
