Sending the price of the sacrificial animal by a resident abroad

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 17940 )
Q3: Is it permissible for a Muslim with dependents, when the festival of sacrifice arrives, to send the price of his sacrificial animal to his dependents in his home country so that they may slaughter it on his behalf? He is a resident abroad, and he is certain that his dependents will sacrifice on his behalf as he has instructed, or must he sacrifice where he is?
A3: There is nothing wrong with a resident abroad sending the price of the sacrificial animal to his children in his home country so that they may purchase and slaughter it in their home; indeed, this is the preferred course and the Sunnah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
