Delaying the making up of fasts with the intention of making up several years’ fasts together

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 17557 )
Q1: Four years have passed during which I did not make up the days I missed from Ramadan due to menstruation. I was fourteen years old at the time, and I am now nineteen. I used to think to myself that I would combine five days from this month or year with five days from the next year, and five days from the year after that, until I completed a month and made it up all at once. But now that I have grown up and learned that this is not permissible, I asked about it, and I was told that I must feed one poor person for each day I make up, or pay money. However, I am unable to feed a poor person or pay money for each day, as I am a student and still under my parents’ care. I would like to inform you that last year I ate on five days and made them up this year, and I have corrected my previous behavior regarding the past years. What do you advise me to do? May Allah reward you and preserve you.
A1: It is obligatory for you to make up the number of days you missed from Ramadan in the past years, along with feeding one poor person for each day you make up, the amount being half a sa’ (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of the staple food of the country. If you are unable to feed them, it remains a debt on you until you are able to do so. As for paying money, it is not permissible.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
