Fatwa number ( 15407 )
Q: It is that during last year's Hajj, on the first day of the days of stoning, I encountered a crowd, and I was pushed forcefully at the pillar, which led me to throw all seven pebbles in my hand at once at the first pillar, and as for the remaining days, I appointed my uncle to act on my behalf in the stoning. And although I am a woman who is ignorant of the ruling and do not know whether my action was correct, or whether I owe something, especially since I did not throw each pebble individually? Please inform us about this, and may you have abundant thanks and appreciation, and may Allah preserve you.
A : Stoning the Aqabah pillar on the day of 'Id is an obligatory duty of Hajj. Accordingly, whoever leaves an obligatory duty owes a sacrificial animal that is sufficient as an 'Id sacrifice, which he slaughters in Makkah , distributes it to the poor of the Haram, and does not eat any of it. If he is unable to do so, he fasts for ten days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
