The ruling on one who missed stoning the Aqabah pillar on the day of 'Id

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a message from Muhammad Saleh Mahmoud. He says in his message, which has two parts, in the first part: I was unable to stone the Aqabah pillar on the day of 'Id, so I stoned it on the night of the first day of the days of Tashriq. Is anything obligatory for me regarding this, or not? May Allah guide you.
Answer: Stoning on the day of 'Id is valid for the entire day; because the entire day of 'Id is the place for stoning. However, if one missed it because the sun set on the day of 'Id and he did not stone, and he stoned after the sun set, it is valid for him according to the correct opinion. Many scholars say it is not valid for him, but they delay the stoning to after the sun passes its zenith on the eleventh day, so he starts with it for the day of 'Id, then he stones for the eleventh day. This is what a group of scholars said, and it is well-known among the scholars. But the correct view is that there is no harm in that, and that it is valid for him if the sun sets and then he stones after its setting for the day of 'Id; it is valid for him according to the correct opinion. And if he delays it to avoid the difference of opinion, and stones after the sun passes its zenith for the day of 'Id with the intention, then stones that eleventh day with twenty-one pebbles for that day after the sun passes its zenith, that is also good, and it involves avoiding the difference of opinion. Yes.
