Leaving the stoning of the middle pillar for the Aqabah on the second day of the days of Tashriq
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 16233 )
Q: I went to Hajj this year and I stoned the pillars on the Day of 'Id for myself and on behalf of my daughter. On the second day, I stoned the three pillars. On the twelfth day, I stoned the first pillar for myself and for my daughter. It happened that I got separated from my companions due to the heavy crowd and did not complete the stoning. I slept in Mina and did not stone on the thirteenth day . What is the ruling regarding not completing the stoning? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A : It is obligatory for you to pay a fidyah (ransom payment) for leaving the stoning of the middle pillar for the Aqabah on the second day, and for leaving the stoning on the thirteenth day of the days of Tashriq. The fidyah is a sheep that is acceptable as an 'Id sacrifice, slaughtered in Makkah and distributed to the poor of the Haram. Your daughter is like you in the ruling; the aforementioned fidyah is upon her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
